What onboarding looks like

The first weeks with us, step by step — what we ask for, what we set up, and what changes for your team.

Last updated: August 2026

At a glance

How it unfolds

1
Before day one
You hand over an inventory of what you run, your key contacts, and credentials — transferred securely, never over plain email. Incomplete is fine; discovering what exists is part of onboarding.

2
First conversations
We walk your environment together: what matters most, what breaks most often, what worries you. Priorities come from you; sequencing comes from us.

3
Going live
Monitoring in place, access under control, your team knowing exactly how to reach support. We tell you explicitly when you are there.

What changes for your team

One front door
HelpDesk portal for normal requests, phone for urgent ones. The old habit of texting whoever knew the server gets retired gently.

Fewer surprises
Planned changes are announced before they happen. If your team hears about a change from anyone but us first, that is our failure — tell us.

Note: Discovery is read-only. Nothing gets shut off, migrated, or changed without a plan you agreed to — that includes the old email account nobody admits to using.

Common questions

Will anything go down during onboarding?+

Nothing gets shut off or migrated without an agreed plan. Discovery is read-only; changes are scheduled with you.

What if we do not know all our own passwords and accounts?+

Common, and fixable. Recovering control of half-forgotten accounts is a normal onboarding task.

How much of our time does onboarding take?+

Front-loaded: a few focused conversations early, then it tapers. Most of the work happens on our side.
