What exactly are Managed IT Services?

What is cloud backup?

Cloud backup also known as Online Backup is the process where your onsite backups are transferred to an offsite server every night. The server is located in a secure data center. Cloud Backup replaces the need for someone to take a backup home each night. It is more secure, reliable and easier to manage and monitor.

What kind of response times can I expect?

We work with each client to establish specific expectations. Our measurable service levels specify clear consequences for not living up to agreed-upon expectations.

How Long is a Managed Services Contract For?

Managed IT Services Contracts vary by provider. Some providers offer month-to-month programs, while others require a multi-year contract. Some have a very high startup cost and lower monthly, while others require a multi-year contract. What is needed to get started on development?

Easy, a concept or what we call a Scope-of-Work (SOW). This gives us a clear ideas of what is needed for the project and what the vision is. Unsure of how to create a SOW, we can assist in this as well.

What is the cut-off date for hosting if unpaid?

We try to work with everyone on invoices prior to any interruption, but we do have a standard we go by. If a hosting service is not paid within 45 days after the due date, the account and all services will be turned off until paid in full. If it lapses more than 90 days, we can no longer host your site.

Where do I go to submit a helpdesk ticket?

Good question! We do have a help desk ticketing system located at https://betaboxts.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portals. This used for support for hosting, graphics, laptops, email services, cloud, etc. If you are new company who has never done business with BetaBoxTS, you will need to contact us and we will set you up in the support system. Here you will be able to request services and support for your products.

What should I do before I call for help?

When possible, write down any information about error messages and take screen shots your issue. Next, attempt to recreate the issue. Often times, it helps to close the program and restart the computer to reset the system, and possibly resolve the problem.

What does having Managed IT Services cost?

Our service model uses a fixed monthly fee, which is based on the size and complexity of your particular network. What types of systems do you support?

We pride ourselves on being “ecosystem agnostic”: whether you use Google Apps or Office365, Windows or Mac, Android or iOS, we will support your team.  Need to host server virtually on Amazon or Azure? We will support you.  Need to transition from one ecosystem to another?  Need a custom graphic created or web app for a contract/business need? We’ll be there for you.

What do we get with our graphics if requested?

You get everything we use – the source files, size formats, and any additional materials we used to create it. Our belief is, you paid for it and it is yours. We don’t hold you hostage like most companies do. If you need it revised and want to use another company, you have the files. We are here for the customer.

Do I have access to my graphics anytime?

Yes, we use Office 365/Azure for our cloud storage. We will grant a business access to there files per request. We are not held responsible if a access to files for terminated employees. It is up to the business to manage access control. If we no longer due business with your company, we will terminate access 90 days after the termination to allow the business time to get information. After this, the files will deleted and not recovered.

Do you accept credit cards?

Yes! We use our accounting software which has a payment gateway built into it. It can accept all major credit cards. We do offer the ability to pay with Paypal as well in our hosting environment.
