Account access & password resets

How access requests, resets, and people changes work — and why we verify before we change anything.

How it works

1
Request comes in
Through the HelpDesk portal or by phone. Access changes only move on requests from you or an authorized contact.

2
We verify
We confirm the request really comes from your organization before touching anything. Attackers love a helpful IT company — we make them work for it.

3
Change is made
Reset, grant, or removal executed — with temporary credentials changed on first sign-in and a record of what changed.

People changes

New hires — Tell us the start date, what they need, and who they mirror — accounts ready on day one beats day-one scrambling.

Departures — Requests must come from an authorized contact. Same-day removals are exactly the requests we prioritize.

Temps and contractors — Own accounts, always — minutes to create, seconds to shut off when the contract ends.

MFA — Stays on. If it is blocking someone, we fix the blocking part, not the security part.

Phishing warning: we will never ask for your password by email — and neither should anyone else. A message asking you to “confirm your password” is a phishing attempt; forward it to us.

Common questions

Why will you not just reset it over email?+

Because email is the first thing attackers compromise. Verification protects you from someone impersonating your own staff.

Can one person share an account with a temp?+

No — temps get their own accounts, which take minutes to set up and seconds to shut off when the contract ends.

Who counts as an authorized contact?+

The people your leadership named during onboarding. Want to change the list? An existing authorized contact tells us.
